5 Minute Salsa

Replace your store-bought jar with 5 Minute Salsa, all made in a food processor, it's healthy and so easy! Always have it on hand for taco night and veggie-packed snacking!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ onion
  • ½ bell pepper (a chunk of jalapeño pepper if you like spicy)
  • a few carrot or zucchini chunks (optional, extra veggies just add nutrition)
  • few leaves of spinach (optional, extra veggies just add nutrition)
  • ¼ c cilantro
  • 1 juice of a lime
  • ½ t kosher salt
  • 6 grinds fresh black pepper
  • pinch of sugar (optional)
  • 15oz can fire roasted tomatoes (can use stewed or chopped tomatoes, or fresh)

Instructions
 

  • Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until desired consistency.
  • Store in a jar in the fridge for a week or two.
